Paper weave experiment

Woven with black linen paper

My inspiration was from balinese traditional woven basket, then i thought why not weave using paper

as a cover of a book or the package design. I found the idea was quite interesting and i tried it.

This experiment was for a coffee table book project of John Stanmeyer an international journal photographer

based in Bali. Done when i was in summer internship program in Afterhours Group (November 2008).

This is about my dream, i always hoping that one day i would find

the answer of the reasons of my existents.

Why i'm being born? what for? are those things i see and feel are real?

what is pain and happiness? what is the key to the enlightenments? will i find the answer?

Do i have a previous life? Is it empty or is it full or full but is empty?

So much question to ask about this life. sometimes we only see things from one side of the coin

and close our eyes for other possibilities that universe have gave to us.

Is it real the thing that you believe in? Carefully see the sign.

But i know one things. Be grateful... Om

I use reference from several pictures, but i forgot who's it belongs to.

Here's the sketches for "FUN.GO Factory" a new children playground concept in FX.

The basic concept and idea was made by Irene, Maureen, Felix

and Eric with his team created the Identity from it.

Since i'm not involve in this project anymore, i really do hope that my contribution to this project will be used wisely and with respect. Hope you'll enjoy it.

Illustration project done when i was in Afterhours Group "summer internship 2008".

This Illustration was created for Indonesia Printer Calender and also to promote new flexo gold print finish.

The idea was to create 12 illustrations of horoscope for each month based on alphonse mucha's style.

First i did the research and study on Mucha's character and interpret it into my own. I also do the costume and accessories design by combining Indonesia traditional jewelry with others traditional costume design.

The whole project was done in 10 days.
